 It was an unknown weapon, a bolt of iron, a huge 
 Messenger of death, the ashes the entire race 
 The Vrishnis and Andhakas. 
 The bodies were then burned beyond recognition. 
 Hair and nails fell out, pottery broke without apparent cause, 
 and the birds turned white.
