How can I install a SATA hard drive on an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard? - best sata hard drive
I connected the HDD to the motherboard, but neither the BIOS nor Windows recognizes the drive. Help!
The BIOS does not seem an option for automatic detection of SATA hard drives have, but it can detect the IDE drives.

If the motherboard has a SATA port ... ... If you just install the damn ... But beware of static .... Using the wrist strap before touching the motherboard, if it has no strap .. . touch the food.
